This is a bit of a collective haul- as I've bought several little things over the past couple of weeks (not including the 3 new camping essentials I got) - somewhat predictably, there is nail polish, and chocolate!!! :)
First of all, Glamour are doing their annual Benefit freebie- I just picked up Bad Gal Lash mascara (I've used it before and I love the giant brush!!!) but now I'm thinking I should go back and pick up the other two samples (Porefessional and That Gal Face Brightening Primer) though I couldn't see them in Boots today when I looked.
Today (a fairly successful shop for work-appropriate clothing btw) I happened across a couple of lovely lovely things in the clearance section; firstly Cadbury Caramel Bunnies at 10p each! Naturally I couldn't resist them, so I bought 4 to share between my sister and I- we will have a wild Saturday night tonight!
I also discovered a highly exciting nail polish- Essie fill the gap! base coat- which supposedly helps to smooth over ridges in the nails (I don't have much of a ridge problem, but my flakey nails are always uneven and it's often obvious even with several coats of polish on!) I think this normally costs £8.99, but I found it for £2! I have no idea why it was on clearance, but I'm looking forward to trying it out :)
And finally, another polish! No7 are still doing their £5 off vouchers, and as I had one in my purse I simply *had* to spend it... I spotted this beautiful Limited Edition Summer polish- it has multi-sized silver glitters in it (with a clear base) and for some reason I don't have anything like it in my collection! This one is £8 so only £3 with the voucher :) There is a gold version too, and I think I'll be sorely tempted to buy it if I get another voucher...
I think I've managed to be fairly restrained over the past month... (I won't tell you about the e.l.f. order I made, or the 24 nail art pens and nail polish thinner I ordered from eBay... not yet anyway!) However my new workplace is very close to the town centre, and I can see myself popping out to shop in my lunch break (this could be dangerous!)
What have you been buying? What are the other benefit samples like? (worth getting?)
