After routing through my nail polish drawers and nail wheels I decided that I just 'HAD' to use Models Own Purple Haze (purple + glitter = heaven) but it was kinda hard to find a purple polish that worked well with it. In the end I picked out a polish that is probably at least 15 years old- but it still works perfectly well!
I also added some stamping (I'd not done any in a while, and I miss it!) so I placed little flowers from plate m33 in the bottom corners of each nail with Barry M Silver Foil. If anyone could help me with tips on how to stamp over glitter I'd be very happy! (I tried and failed, smudging the glitter- trying to remove it simply smeared glitter all over me, you can see it in some of the pictures...)
As always, my silly camera does not really enjoy photographing purple... sorry! But in real life the purple colours do complement each other really well, and the purple is SO GLITTERY!!! (I used two coats over one coat of Vixen) I love Models Own glitter polishes :)
I love Vixen (the old polish) it applied perfectly (no signs of its age) and it has a foil effect to it much like the Barry M ones I have (it really is a darker version of Barry M Lilac Foil), isn't it funny how trends roll around all over again!

I love it when you stamp <3 I don't own any stamping tools, but I can tell you're getting much neater at them! Also at doing your nails in general :D
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) Oh you should, they're a lot of fun (and I can create designs I have no hope of freehanding!!!) I think all this practise is paying off! :)

Thank you :) You should get some, they're so much fun! I really recommend BundleMonster for a good starter set (find them on amazon) and eBay for the stamper set (they're super cheap- about £1.50)
