Review: My Fauxnad Plates :)

A while back I stamped all of my Bundlemonster designs onto paper (see my review here) and I decided to do the same for the fauxnad plates I purchased from eBay ages ago. I can't really review them as a whole, because I got them as a 'random selection' and you can't buy the same collection of plates anywhere- but I've got enough of them to do a general overview :)

You can get these plates very cheaply from eBay (just search for stamping plates, they are everywhere!) I think I paid about £12 for these 32 plates but as far as I can tell they are just as good quality as the Bundlemonster plates- the designs come out well and they're all a good fit to my nails (though there's only one full nail design) I really love how cheap these are too- they are perfect for a beginner to experiment with different patterns and I really recommend these plates to anyone who loves nail art :)

I've used a lot of these stamps- I think I've had them since Summer 2009 so my sister and I have been making good use of them for years! We were lucky enough to get a good mixture of plates- with flowers, random animals, letters and seasonal images, but you can easily pick up individual plates from eBay so you can choose exactly which ones you want.

As before, I used e.l.f. Black to stamp each image onto paper. If you want to see the plates themselves you can take a look here but they're not laid out in the same order. I love having my stamp collection on paper like this, it makes it so much easier to flick through an pick out a design when I'm searching for inspiration :)

Do you own any fauxnad plates? What do you think? :)

    2. Oh I like the design! You should try it again on slightly longer nails with a different color combo so the swirls pop more. I love it subtle, but your nails now are in much better shape overall. TIME TO BREAK OUT THE M55 AGAIN <3
