Annoyingly I have quite a few new nail art supplies heading to me in the post that would have been super-useful for this week (I'll show you when they arrive) but instead I had to make do with hunting around the house for 'random stuff to go on my nails' (my Dad was very confused when he asked what I was doing... that'll teach him to be nosey!) and found some beads, sequins and rhinestones, thank goodness we like crafts in our house, we have drawers full of crafty/sparkly things :)

plus lots of rhinestones, beads and pearls
I used a very simple base of Models Own Pro French Pink (which for me is the perfect my-nails-but-healthy-looking shade) and a coat of Collection 2000 Sparkle Top Coat, then decided to create just an accent nail instead of coating all my nails in rhinestones (I knew it probably wouldn't last too long on my nails, as I have to leave the house and NOT look like a mad person later on) so I had a lot of fun playing a 'how many gems can I fit on one nail' game. Here's how it turned out:
I have to say, I kind of LOVE this- I was a bit skeptical at first, and sure it's not at all practical (especially the sequin I placed at the top which lasted about three whole minutes because I started typing) but I can sort of see why they are so popular in Japan- they are quite fun :)
What's the craziest thing you've ever put on your nails?
