After routing through all my stampers, and various ideas I remembered MUAs Third Day of Christmas nail art post from yesterday (here) which used a glitter eyeliner as a stripe across a french tip- so I decided to copy that! I used e.l.f. Sunset with my new french tip guides (shown here) to create a french tip design- which I found not too hard actually. I really love Sunset, it's such a lovely shade of berry pinkish shimmer :) Then I (not very neatly) added a line/blob of Collection 2000 Glam Crystals Glitter Eyeliner in Glitz (no. 1) over the top. Once the glitter eyeliner had set, I put a top coat on (Insta-Dri, as always), and voila! :)

This also happens to fit in nicely with the glitter badge the lovely Ashesela of Art Evolve tagged me in- I'm supposed to post a picture of my favourite glitter nail art, but I decided a new one would be much more fun!
Excuse the dry and polish covered cuticles, they're not looking their best today!
So they may look neater if I was more careful with the glitter application, but I rather like this slightly uneven look- plus the more glitter the better! I have a couple of lovely MUA glitter eyeliner shades, and I think I'll be using this glitter eyeliner idea again- especially as the MUA ones are only £1 and come in so many colours! (I wonder if they have a green one for Christmas?) :)
What do you think? Are there any other random items you've used in nail art before?
