Currently loving (and loathing)

First of all, I am really happy to say that I have 50 GFC followers on my blog- a massive thank you to each and every one of you who reads my blog, it really means a lot to me :)

Now on to more make up related things, here are a few of my current favorite products:

There are (unsurprisingly) some returning products- like my MUA Heaven and Earth palette, my lash curlers and my e.l.f. Cream Eyeliner in Coffee, and there are some newly discovered loves- like my Natural Collection solo eyeshadow in Milk Chocolate- I think it's the perfect acompaniment to the MUA palette as a matte brown crease shade.

I have quite a few favorite lip products at the moment- I couldn't survive cold weather and chapped lips without my DIY lip scrub (I'm thinking of making a minty Christmassy themed one soon, I'm sure I'll share the recipe with you!) and Carmex- which I think is the best lip balm for protecting against the elements. I've also been loving the e.l.f. Mineral Lipstick in Party Pink; it's my 'my-lips-but-better' shade, which is great for me in cold weather as my lips lose all their pigmentation (I have terrible circulation...)

And there are quite a few non-make up things too. Because of the cold weather (which is definitely a currently loathing item) I've been forced to wrap up warm, I have a lot of scarves (I collect them really!) but I've been wearing this lovely tartan one a lot recently, it's really big- pashmina sized- and really really warm :)

I am also embracing thick socks, boots, gloves and legwarmers- sometimes even inside! My dad is one of those annoying people who doesn't feel the cold at all (I blame it on him growing up in Scotland where it's even colder than England) and if he isn't cold, he refuses to let anyone have the heating on so it's always cold in the house :( I'm working on making some DIY beanie microwave warmers- I'll probably be sharing the instructions for that sometime soon too :)

I've been watching X Factor- mainly because my sister is obsessed (I'm not sure I'd bother given a choice) and Katy Perry's performance on Sunday was awesome (I love that song), and her hair is absolutely amazing! I've been listening to her albums on repeat ever since :)

And finally- I'm currently loathing:

• Cold weather- I just HATE being cold :(
• Short, dark days- how depressing! I basically just dislike winter...
• That I still can't get onto Pottermore- It's SO not fair!
